At Notley Dental Care we aim to put you at ease as soon as you walk through our door, that’s why every member of our team will treat you with respect and a calm, friendly approach.
Because you are our priority, we allow extra time for your first appointment with us. We want you to be as comfortable as possible. Your first appointment will be 30 minutes.
Our friendly reception team will ask you to complete a short medical history questionnaire. Many medical conditions and medications have a direct and significant effect on the health of your mouth, so it’s important that we know about these.
Next, you will be greeted by your dental team, where your dentist will discuss with you any problems or concerns you may have, to better understand your reason for coming to see us. You will then have a thorough dental examination, which will include inspecting your teeth, gums and other soft tissues in your mouth; we will carry out an oral cancer screening at this appointment. Digital x-ray’s will also be taken if needed.
At the end of your appointment, your dentist will go through all of their findings with you. A treatment plan and estimate will be given and there will be plenty of time to ask any questions that you may have.
