What is Botulinum Toxin such as Botox®/ Vistabel®/ Xeomin®/ Dysport®/ Azzalure®?
Botulinum Toxin has been used for over 25 years and is a type of purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. Botox and Azzalure are both very safe and are injected directly into facial muscles in very tiny amounts during treatment.
How does Botox treatment work?
Botulinum Toxin, used at Notley Facial Aesthetics in the form of Botox or Azzalure, when injected into a muscle temporarily relaxes the muscle by blocking nerve impulses. As the nerve impulses are blocked, the muscle is temporarily unable to contract causing the wrinkles to relax and soften. This gives the overlying facial skin a smoother and more youthful appearance.

How long do the results last?
Results from your Botox or Azzalure treatment will start to show after 3-10 days and will last 3-4 months. Clients who have treatments 2 or 3 times per year tend to find the results may last longer after the first 2 years of anti wrinkle treatments. The results are temporary because the muscles regain their strength again over 3-6 months.
