Dr Mete Ucer

Special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry

Mete’s passion for cosmetic dentistry has led him to undertake continuous professional courses, both in the UK and abroad, to keep up to date with the very latest advances in dentistry and technology.

He has been praised by both patients and colleagues for his excellence in creating a new smile.

By using an interdisciplinary approach when designing a new smile, Dr Ucer often involves our in house specialists, providing our patients with the highest level of knowledge and skill.

Dr Ucer’s extensive post graduate training and observation of some of the worlds best cosmetic dentists has given him the knowledge and skill to offer fantastic smile solutions for patients unhappy with the appearance of their existing smile.

Mete qualified from Karolinska University, Sweden in 1995. He is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) as well as being an affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Dr Carl G Manhem

Specialist in Oral Surgery and Implants

Carl qualified from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1983. He became a specialist in Oral Surgery in 1994 at the University of Linköping, Sweden.

Before moving to the UK Carl worked in Sweden and Denmark as an Assistant Professor. During this period, he also attended several implant clinics and a private hospital as a consultant for complex implant cases.

His main clinical interests are Implantology, in which he has over 20 years of experience, Reconstructive Surgery and Orthognathic Surgery. Since October 2000, he has run Implantology courses at the Eastman Dental Institute and also lectures nationally and internationally.

Carl is achieving outstanding results with his focus on comprehensive interdisciplinary implant solutions.

Dr Kylie Mouton-Manhem

Dentist

Kylie has a very open and warming approach to her patients. She takes great pride in being able to achieve a comfortable environment for anxious patients and thoroughly enjoys treating children.

Her experience lies in minimally invasive dentistry, short term orthodontics and restoration of implants. She spent a year at a renowned implant centre in London and developed a specialist interest in the restoration of implants, and cosmetic dentistry.

Kylie graduate from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2011. She followed this with a Senior House Officer post in John Radcliff hospital and achieved her membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013.

Dr Ziad Ali

Special interest in Invisalign and Orthodontics

Ziad graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003. In 2006 he passed his membership exams for the Royal College of Surgeons. Ziad is one of only a handful of dentists in the United Kingdom who has achieved Platinum Invisalign provider status.

Ziad is an experienced, gentle dentist with a relaxed and informal style which helps to put his patients at ease. He is passionate about dentistry and has travelled extensively to learn from some of the best dentists in the world.

Ziad is dedicated to delivering clinical excellence and quality care. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but has a particular clinical interest in the fields of Orthodontics and Cosmetic dentistry. He regularly attends conferences both in the UK and abroad and is fully up to date with all of the latest techniques in dentistry and Invisalign.

Ziad's extensive training allows him to be able to offer a number of various methods for correcting crooked smiles. These orthodontic systems include: Invisalign, Inman aligner and the Six Month Smile systems.

He is also a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD) and Royal College of Surgeons (MFGDP and MJDF).

Dr Anjana Sagar

Specialist Periodontist

Anjana has extensive experience in the management of complex periodontal (gum disease) and peri-implant diseases and conditions. Anjana’s extensive clinical and academic background, alongside continual professional development, enable her to offer the latest evidence-based dentistry. Her approach is to tailor care to each individual’s specific needs and deliver minimally invasive treatment with predictable outcomes. She accepts referrals from external dentists as well as our team at Notley.

She graduated from King’s College London in 2012 and after completing her foundation training in Surrey, she worked as a Senior House Officer in the field of Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Guy’s Hospital. During this, she gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care at The University of Kent. Anjana has successfully completed a 4-year specialist training programme in Periodontology at King’s College London and is recognised as a specialist in Periodontics (for management of gum disease) by the General Dental Council.

Anjana is passionate about her speciality and has been actively involved with the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) as a Mono-speciality Representative of Early Career Group and has been awarded the BSP Fellowship Award. Currently she is Dental Speciality Ambassador for South East of England for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Ioana Pop

Specialist Endodontist

Ioana is our Specialist Endodontist at Notley Dental Care. She sees our patients for routine and complex root canal treatments and alsoaccepts referrals from other colleagues

Shehas worked at Kings College Hospital for over 12 yearswhere she undertakes teachingas well as lecturing nationally and internationally.

Ioanais highly skilled in the most modern endodontic microscopic surgeries, taking on referrals from other dentists successfully treating failed endodontic cases.Ioanaalso has extensive hospital training and experience in Oral Surgery, Conscious Sedation and Endodontics. This is supported by her 4 years of postgraduate training and achieving a M.Clin.Dent, MEndo from Kings College London, United Kingdom.
